Sustainability will be a strong focus at the Ispo Munich show starting next Sunday. Aside from its traditional Sustainability Breakfast on Tuesday morning, the European Outdoor Group is staging various other related events including round-table discussions on evaluation methods and communication for sustainable products. Ispo's organizers point to recent studies showing that the demand for sustainable and eco-friendly apparel has been rising on average by 5 percent a year since 2000, and that fair manufacturing conditions for clothing are now important for 86 percent of the German people.
