Ternua is launching a PFC-free textile collection for spring/summer 2019. The brand said that the garments in the new collection have been manufactured using recycled or natural biodegradable material, organic cotton or Bluesign certified textiles. The collection includes 11 garments made with textiles recycled from fishing nets, which have been turned into thread through its Recycle project. The Dulau jacket is finally part of the collection, Ternua said. This technical jacket is the outcome of a collaboration launched in 2017 with participants of the Gorbeia Suzien mountain race. The jacket uses the Warmshell Eco textile, an elastic recycled textile that is said to facilitate breathability, for a comfortable temperature sensation. It also features a natural antibacterial treatment.
