The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) will once again support three environmental projects this year, which are not selected by the association's members but through public voting on EOCA's own website and on the websites of partner consumer magazines in the U.K., Germany and the Netherlands. They feature a short list of projects compiled from 55 applications submitted by EOCA members. The candidates are split into three categories: alpine, outdoor and nature projects. The winning projects will receive up to €30,000 in EOCA funding. The public ballot is running from March 14 to 28 for the outdoor and alpine categories and from March 22 through April 12 in the nature category. The projects are described and can be voted on at http://www.outdoorconservation.eu/project-info.cfm?pageid=19 as well as on the websites of Norr, TGO, Alpin, LIFT, Bike & Trekking and Sport Partner.
