The German Energy Agency has honored Messe Friedrichshafen, organizer of the annual European OutDoor show on Lake Constance, for its environmentally sound economic activities in energy issues. In the past three years, the cost of energy consumption has been reduced by about €200,000 through several measures including the complete shutdown of the computers, when not in use, and the modernization and regulation of the lighting system.
