The Hohenstein Institute is organizing a free webinar on June 23 to show how product tests for skin compatibility can open up a specialized market. The German institute can certify that a company's products are “skin-friendly” or “non-allergenic” through the tests that it conducts to find out whether they contain harmful substances under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. It can deliver labels to communicate the quality of the products to retailers and consumers. The June 23 internet conference, which will take place at 3 PM German time, will present the test procedures and the associated marketing opportunities. Those interested in the webinar are advised to sign up online at www.hohenstein.de/hautfreundlich_allergikerfreundlich.
