According to several media reports, Albert Scholte will be the new chief executive of the Dutch outdoor retail chain Bever as of Oct. 1. Scholte previously spent 13 years at Nike, where he was most recently responsible for the brand’s European business at Foot Locker. He is the successor of Pieter Saman, who left recently to join the spirits manufacturer Gall & Gall. Scholte will focus on sustainable financial growth and the expansion of Bever’s successful omni-channel strategy.
