Christopher “Chris” H. Peterson will become executive vice president and chief financial officer of Newell Brands on Dec. 3. He will be reporting Michael Polk, the president and chief executive, replacing Ralph Nicoletti, who will be retiring at the end of the year. Peterson has held senior roles in financial planning, management and strategy at Procter & Gamble, Ralph Lauren and Revlon. At Newell, he will be handling finance and financial reporting, IT and global business services.
