The British Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) has appointed Andrew Denton the federation's chief executive. Denton joined the U.K. outdoor industry in 1984 and held various positions in the management of companies such as Sprayway, Mountain Equipment, The Peaco Group and the Outdoor Sports Company. Effective September, he will lead OIA working closely with the board and with his predecessor, Louise Ramsay, who now acts as director in charge of communication. Corry Taylor, president of Bradshaw Taylor, remains as chairman of the board.
