The North Face has appointed Joe Vernachio vice president for global product. Vernachio was previously the company's vice president for operations. He succeeds Philip Hamilton, who has left the company. Vernachio has 25 years of experience in the market for outdoor products. Prior to joining The North Face, he held roles at Spyder Active Sports, Patagonia, Calvin Klein and Roots Canada. Vernachio will oversee the brand's apparel and equipment divisions.
