In September, the hiking brand Vasque Footwear appointed Bryce Wernsman as its president, in replacement of Allison Gettings. Wernsman had spent the previous three and a half years as senior director of global marketing at Vasque’s parent company, Red Wing Shoe, helping to steer its brand, retail network and digital transformation. Before Red Wing, he spent 10 years at Polaris Industries of Minnesota, a producer of powersports vehicles, working his way up from sales to program manager for lean processes. Gettings has been shifted to vice president of business services at Red Wing Shoe Company.
