We have already reported on Sally Jewell leaving as chief executive of Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI) to become Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior. From Oct. 1, her position will be filled by Jerry Stritzke, who has been with Coach since 2008, serving lately as president and chief operating officer of that well-known American brand of handbags and other leathergoods.
