Zhejiang Haers Vacuum Containers, the Chinese company that bought Sigg Switzerland Bottles a year ago, appointed a new chief executive for the Swiss-based supplier of drink bottles, Antonio Villacampa, last December. Reports indicate that the previous CEO, Stefan Ludewig, left Sigg over differences about its strategic orientation. Villacampa is a Spanish manager who had already been working for Haers since January of last year as executive adviser to the chairman of the group, coordinating the integration of Sigg and handling other projects. Based in Shanghai since 2007, he previously ran the operations of Arc International and World Kitchen in the Asia-Pacific region.
