In our edition dated Thursday, Jan. 28, 2018, we published an article titled “The North Face unveils a breathable waterproof fabric,” where we stated that waterproof membranes like Gore-Tex don’t let moisture out. This is incorrect, since Gore-Tex membranes are both waterpoof and breathable in varying degrees, letting moisture out through a microporous structure. This has also been corrected in the Html version of the article in our archives.
