Kabooki, the licensee of the Lego brand for outdoor apparel for children, has a new majority shareholder. Christopher Silcowitz, chief executive of Kabooki, recently acquired 19.8 percent of the company's shares from the Lego group. Just a couple of days later, he was offered 70.1 percent of the shares, which were previously held by Jysk Fynsk Kapital. For more than 20 years, Silcowitz was a co-owner of Reima, the Finnish brand of outdoor apparel for children. Starting with the autumn/winter 2018 season, the range of sizes will be expanded, among other initiatives.
