Foreign visitors are expected to be able to attend the next Ispo Munich show, scheduled for Jan. 31 to Feb. 3.The government of Germany has decided to grant entry into its territory – even from outside the EU, the Schengen area or Germany’s list of approved countries – to foreign exhibitors, visitors and others taking part in trade shows. As long as they submit proof of participation with their visa application or at their point of entry, they will be considered business travelers with good cause. An admission ticket or proof of an appointment with at least one exhibitor will suffice. Those entering Bavaria from a high-risk area must at present submit to a 14-day quarantine. As of October, however, they may cut the quarantine short after the fifth day if they can pass a Covid-19 test. The regulations are available online on the websites of the German Foreign Office and the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA).
