Nine members of the 12 members of the advisory board of the U.S. National Park System have resigned because they feel they have been ignored by Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke. They criticize in particular the role he played in downsizing the Bears Ears National Monument and other protected lands, as well as the U.S. government's recent decision to allow offshore drilling in these areas.
