Patagonia has hired Avi Garbow as an environmental advocate. Garbow was a general counsel with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under President Barack Obama from 2013 to 2017 and then became a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, a law firm in Washington, D.C. He will be working with various environmental groups around the U.S., with a focus on land and water conservation, renewable energies and regenerative organic agriculture.
