The Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) has appointed Alexander Kohnstamm as its new executive director. Based in Amsterdam, FWF is a non-profit organization that works to improve labor conditions in the garment industry. Most recently, Kohnstamm was director of external affairs at PharmAccess Foundation, an organization which helps people in Sub-Saharan Africa to get better healthcare. Prior to PharmAccess, he served as executive director of Partos, a Dutch platform for development organizations. Before his career in the development sector, he worked as a marketing manager at Sony Europe and Mitsubishi Group.
