The Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) reports that all its 67 member brands have individually signed the Sustainability Charter of the European Outdoor Group (EOG). The SOG, which was the first trade association that signed it collectively last year, says it will provide advice, insights and guidance to help the brands to “complete each stage of the journey at their own pace.” At the Ispo Show in Munich, the SOG's Scandinavian Outdoor Village will host 32 brands. It will name the winner of the traditional Scandinavian Outdoor Award on Sunday. As it did at the European Outdoor Summit in Malmö last September, it will invite anybody to participate in a “plogging” (pick litter and jog) event at 5 PM on Monday under the direction of Erik Ahlström, who invented the sport.
