Mammut, the Swiss-based outdoor brand owned by the Conzzeta Group, has established a partnership with Bruce Goodlad and Mike Austin, the co-owners of Avalanche Geeks, a British company that teaches courses in avalanche safety in Scotland and the Alps. Goodlad has been serving as a mountain guide – on skis and on foot, and everywhere from Antarctica to Greenland – for the past 19 years. He was formerly technical director of the British Mountain Guides (BMG), where he helped develop the organization's avalanche and ski-guide program. Austin has been guiding on skis for about 20 years, mostly in North America but also in Antarctica and Norway. He is an assistant ski guide with AMGA (American Mountain Guides) and a professional member of the American Avalanche Association (AAA). With Mammut they will be working on product development and social engagement.
