(Already published in the Asia Outdoor issue) Keen has commissioned the design of ‘green graffiti' in front of Globetrotter stores in downtown Hamburg and Cologne. Water, a high-pressure cleaner and different patterns have been used to create a long-lasting work of art on the pavement in German city centers, by washing the dirt off the pavements. A Californian surf- and lifestyle artist, Drew Brophy, who is a testimonial of the Californian footwear brand, developed the designs. A company called GreenGraffiti made the graffiti. The street-art is part of Keen's campaign to promote its CNX collection of lightweight shoes. Globetrotter stores in Hamburg, Cologne, Munich, Berlin, Dresden and Frankfurt sell the shoes and feature special sales corners for them, signaling the location of the products in the stores.
