Dakine, founded in 1979 in Hawaii and focusing on the surf, windsurf, kiteboard, snowboard, ski, skateboard, mountain bike and travel segments, has expanded its mountain biking range to include footwear and new tech wear for spring 2021. Dakine has been active in mountain biking for more than 20 years. The new and company’s first MTB shoe series, Drift, comes with men’s and women’s models for flat pedal riders. Building on Dakine’s proven and respected technical bikewear, the brand has also updated key styles for improved comfort and fit. Both the new MTB shoe offering and the expanded bikewear range are available in the U.S. on www.dakine.com and at select retail partners. At the time of writing, there was no information available about the European launch date.
