U.S. outdoor and leisure apparel brand Eddie Bauer has registered Aug. 8 with National Day Calendar as Global Sleep Under The Stars Night. In honor of its 100-year anniversary in 2020, the Seattle-based brand invites everyone to come together in experiencing the beauty of the outdoors by spending the night under the stars. Participants are encouraged to set up a tent in their backyard, lay out a sleeping bags on their apartment patio, hang a hammock in the backcountry or get outside however they’re able to. For those joining virtually, Eddie Bauer will be hosting a lineup of events and content from its guides, leaders, and community members via their Instagram on Aug. 8.
