Mammut has released a firmware upgrade for its Barryvox avalanche transceivers. BarryHeart 3.4 includes a software update for an even faster and more intuitive search for avalanche victims, improved sound quality in the alternative search mode and optimized battery support. The firmware upgrade can be easily performed from device to device, regardless of network or service point access, once a Barryvox has been updated within a community. BarryHeart 3.4 is available with immediate effect and can be installed free of charge at any Mammut Service Center, at avalanche safety centers or at specialist retailers.
