Garmin recently announced its collaboration with La Sportiva in Spain. The “La Sportiva Mountain Running” team, consisting of Spanish athletes like Miguel Caballero, Maite Maiora, David Lopez Castan, Alfredo Gil, Cristobal Adell, Pere Rullan and Nil Cardona, will use a Garmin GPS watch, Fenix 3 Sapphire, for training purposes and in competitions. Fenix 3 offers GPS navigation as well as a set of running training features like performance data and feedback by showing the ground contact time balance, vertical ratio and real time stride length.
