In an unusual move for an outdoor brand, Garmont was a main sponsor of a “football” event. The charity event “Notte dei Re,” the Italian for The Night of the Kings, which was held at the iconic Foro Italico in Rome on June 2, saw the participation of former football stars, competing in an atypical game that opposed teams of six. The two teams were led respectively by Francesco Totti, a legend of the AS Roma football team who is now an executive of the club, and Luis Figo, the Portuguese who won the Golden Ball in 2000. The Garmont logo was featured on the jerseys of Totti's team.
