Jones Snowboards is launching the brand’s first technical outerwear line. The new eco-friendly line includes three collections for backcountry freeriding: Shralpinist, Uphill and Mountain Surf. The Shralpinist collection is designed for climbing and riding in extreme conditions. The Uphill collection is designed to cover large amounts of terrain through changing weather. The Mountain Surf is a versatile collection meant to handle every day of the winter and any approach to the mountains. All three collections share informative safety features: The jackets in all three collections include avalanche rescue diagrams inside the lining and five red flag icons on the sleeves. Furthermore, all jackets and pants feature Recco reflectors, and most items are available in a “Safety Red” colorway. The materials are Oekotex and/or Bluesign certified, and most are recycled. As a member of 1% For The Planet, every tee, jacket or pant that Jones sells also gives back to organizations that help protect the environment. Jones outerwear will hit retail around the world in autumn 2021.
