Lowa, the German-based producer of outdoor shoes, opened a new test center in Albstadt in the Zollernalb region, a typical hiking destination in Southern Germany. A selection of outdoor shoes in various sizes for women, men and children will be available for testing purposes from the end of April. The test center is located in a hotel in Albstadt from where people usually go on hiking trails. Retailers in the Zollernalb region will also benefit from the initiative, as the shoes in the test center are not for sale. Potential customers will be directed to one of Lowa's six retail partners in the area.
