Merrell presents “We Hike to Heal,“ a film produced by an all-female crew led by Faith Briggs and Whitney Hassett and starring Kenya and Michelle Jackson-Saulters, the two creators of the Outdoor Journal Tour from Atlanta, Georgia. Through a series of events called We Hike to Heal, Kenya and Michelle‘s goal is to empower women through keepig journals, meditation and spending time in the outdoors. Now, women across the USA use their model and Kenya’s teachings to find their own healing on local trails and in community with one another.

“Hike to Heal was created to provide a safe and sacred space for women to heal and forge a deeper connection with nature,“ said Kenya and Michelle. “Seeing our vision come to life is beyond humbling – but even more than that, it’s exciting. Because we know exposure will only bring our message of mindfulness and movement to more and more people.” Merrell’s marketing manager, Adam Koepfer, said that the brand supports Michelle and Kenya because their work is changing the landscape of lives and communities for the better. “We are thrilled to share their story and the cause they have championed, which align so well with Merrell’s mission of sharing the simple power of being outside. We are proud to partner with them and hope to amplify their voices and accelerate their mission through this film.”
