Mountain Hardwear, a subsidiary of Columbia Sportswear, has won an U.K. Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) Award in the clothing category, for its Ghost Shadow Hoody. The jacket is made with 100 percent postindustrial recycled fabric and semi-recycled trims, and is insulated with 100 percent and 70 percent post-consumer recycled PrimaLoft Eco synthetic insulation. It is also said to use 52 percent less water and to reduce carbon emissions by 39 percent during the manufacturing process.
