Pentland Brands has been named as one of the U.K.'s Best Workplaces 2016 by the Great Place to Work Institute (GPTW). It is the only sports, outdoor or fashion brand-owner to have made the 2016 list. Pentland, which owns well-known brands such as Berghaus, Ellesse, Speedo and others, ranked 11th in the Best Large Company category. The results from the Pentland survey showed that 88 percent of the employees said it is a “great place to work,” an improvement from 84 percent in the previous survey conducted in 2013. The Best Workplaces 2016 list is selected based on an independent GPTW employee survey and an in-depth analysis of all aspects of the organizational culture.
