The Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) has announced the award winners that were picked by an international jury of journalists that came together in Åre, Sweden, at the end of June. For summer 2013, the overall winner is the “Biom Hike” boot from Ecco, while the sustainability award goes to the “Keb” jacket from Fjällräven. Additionally, the jury named three more products that deserved honorable mentions: the “Gram 15” backpack by Haglöfs, the “Fjellheimen Superlight” tent by Helsport and the “K-Guard” kayak carrier system by Thule.
