The X-Bionic brand of X-Technology joined Victorinox and Honeywell in the Hall of Fame of the prestigious Swiss Innovation Award as it celebrated its 25th anniversary in Zurich. Meanwhile, X-Technology, Schoeller, Sympatex Technologies and Polartec took Best Innovation prizes at the recent inaugural Future Materials Awards organized by the World Textile Information Network in Dresden. X-Technology came out as the winner in the Textiles for Clothing category. Schoeller won the prize in the Protection Textiles segment with its Pyroshell technology. Sympatex won the prize in the Sportswear and Outdoor Apparel category with its Phaseable laminate.
