Timberland Pro’s Reaxion safety shoe features the brand proprietary Aerocor Energy System as well as BASF’s Elastollan thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The Aerocore Energy System is comprised of three layers that work together for energy return, comfort and grip: the Anti-Fatigue Technology footbed, a foam midsole, and a non-marking outsole. Meanwhile, the outsole of the Reaxion shoe features BASF’s Elastollan TPU, to provide anti-abrasion and traction performance. In addition, BASF’s Elastopan high-rebound PU foam is used in the midsole and insole, for long-standing comfort and support. The shoe is designed to combine the flexibility of athletic footwear with the durability of a work boot, and is suitable for indoor work as well as outdoor jobs, in construction or other industries.
