Trangoworld and Sea to Summit are sponsoring Alex Txikon, a mountaineering champion from the Basque region of Spain who is going to try again to be the first one to climb up the Everest without oxygen during the winter, facing temperatures down to -55°C. He gave up the challenge last year after nine days of trekking up the mountain. The expedition, which reached Base Camp by helicopter on Dec. 25, is scheduled to start the ascent on Feb. 2.
