With the film “Eis und Palmen” (Ice & Palms), a documentary about the unusual crossing of the Alps by two friends by bike and ski, German outdoor brand Vaude has convinced the international jury of the Cannes Corporate Movies & TV Awards 2020. The production team received the Silver Dolphin in the category “Adventure, Travel and Tourism.” The adventure story about Jochen Mesle and Max Kroneck was produced by El Flamingo, a creative team for commercial films from Dusseldorf, Germany, on behalf of Vaude. Mesle and Kroneck filmed about half of the footage themselves while on tour. In addition to the creative achievement of the entire production team, the Cannes Corporate Movies & TV Award Silver Dolphin also recognizes the image impact of the film for the Vaude brand. The coveted Dolphin trophies have been awarded to the world’s best business films and documentaries since 2010.
