As already reported in Shoe Intelligence, Superfeet opened a new European operations center in Edinburgh, Scotland, and will begin distributing its products and systems directly to retailers in the U.K. and Ireland. Steven Baynes from Anatom, Superfeet's former European distributor, will run the European office. Currently, four people are working in the office with two more sales people based in England and a country manager. From now on, other countries within Europe will be supplied from the U.K. warehouse. Distribution contracts with local companies have been signed in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore in the last six months. Superfeet is currently looking to employ a European manager, to be based in the European office. The company's international sales manager left the company two weeks ago. Bill McLean, president at Superfeet, is currently taking over his responsibilities.
