Dale of Norway, the Scandinavian specialty manufacturer of knitwear, is making inroads into the Russian market, where it has picked a distributor that also handles brands such as Icebreaker, Hanwag, Fjällräven, Tierra, Rossignol, Kästle, Sea to Summit and Eagle Creek. Based in Moscow, NordSport will start distributing Dale in the spring under the leadership of Kristina Boldyreva, who will act as brand manager. Besides its own wholesale operations, NordSport operates three stores in the Russian capital, including what it claims to be the largest ski store in the country.
