Devold of Norway has expanded the territory covered by its German sales subsidiary to distribute its merino wool products not only in Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia, but also in Italy and France. Devold will use agents in both new markets. In Italy, it will work with Panorama Diffusion, which already distributes Vaude, Sea to Summit and Meindl. Ricochet will represent the brand in France. The German operation has been run since the beginning of 2017 by Herbert Horelts, former German country manager for Haglöfs. Devold was previously distributed in Germany, Austria and Slovenia by Völkl. After taking over the distribution, Devold has been tailoring parts of its collection, which is made in Lithuania, to local tastes.
