Gregory, winner of the OutDoor Gold Award in the category of backpacks for its Baltoro 65l, recently signed a distribution contract with Ace Distribution for sales in the Swiss market, starting in the autumn of this year. Gregory worked before with a different distributor in this market. The brand, which is now owned by Samsonite, is growing rapidly in Europe with Norway, Germany, France and the U.K. being the most important markets for the brand. In the U.K., Gregory started to work with a new distributor, Lyon Equipment, last July. As reported previously in The Outdoor Industry Compass, Gregory saw its sales grow by 28.8 percent last year to $44 million, with a 22.7 percent increase in constant currencies and strong progress in Europe, North America and Asia.
