Hi-Tec, the brand of court sports, outdoor and golf footwear, is taking over its own distribution in the Netherlands from the start of next year. For the last two years Hi-Tec has been sold in the Dutch market by Falcon, a Dutch supplier of rainwear and sports apparel. However, the two companies have agreed that it would be more efficient for Hi-Tec to handle the Dutch market itself, since it moved its international head office from England to Amsterdam last year. For this purpose, Hi-Tec established a new subsidiary, Hi-Tec Nederland, which will operate from the company's head office in the Dutch capital. Marc van Lierop and Marc Tanis, who had been heading sales for Hi-Tec in the Netherlands, will join the new organization. Separately, the Hi-Tec golf range is still sold in the country by ACM Products, which replaced Golfers World two months ago.
