Hydro Flask is expanding into the Asia-Pacific region this winter. The U.S.-based producer of insulated stainless steel flasks and softgoods for the outdoor, active lifestyle, sporting goods, coffee/tea and gourmet grocery markets began distribution to Korean retailers in January through a partnership with Gourmet F&B Korea, which is part of the LF Group and distributes mostly high-end European food products. Founded in 2009, Hydro Flask is headquartered in Bend, Oregon. It began expanding into Europe in 2015. The brand was acquired in 2016 by Helen of Troy, a multinational founded in Texas and now registered in Bermuda. Among its other brands are Ogilvie, Oxo and Brut.
