Instead of serving the Asian markets from one centralized office, Primaloft has decided to use agencies to ensure distribution in the various markets of the Far East and Oceania. In Nanjing, the company's managing director for Europe, Jochen Lagemann, who has been appointed head of the Asian operations as well, told this publication that various companies have been appointed in the region. This process began last September. China is now covered by an office of Itochu in Shanghai, while sales in Japan are managed by Mitsui from Osaka. Seoul-based EPS Corporation takes care of South Korea. Carl Matthews from the Devmark agency handles Primaloft's business in Australia and Oceania from his base in New Zealand. Lagemann explained that the Fifth Continent is particularly interesting because of its wide range of locally operating consumer brands and the large potential in the professional and tactical sectors.
