Isbjörn of Sweden, which makes outdoor clothing for children, has plans to grow in Norway. The brand, which has been selling its products in the country primarily through children's shops, has reached an agreement with Gresvig, the big retailer that franchises the Intersport and G-Sport banners. Reportedly, the company plans to have a dedicated Norwegian sales team and a turnover of 15 million Norwegian kroner (€1.6m-$1.9m) by 2019, three times the current amount. The deal with Gresvig follows a recent investment in Isbjörn by three founders of Addnature, the online retailer controlled by Internetstores, which was to help expand its international sales (The Compass vol. 10 N° 8+9 of May 11, 2017).
