Jack Wolfskin, the German outdoor brand, was spotted at the Outdoor Retailer winter market in Salt Lake City earlier this month, indicating that the company is preparing to move into the U.S. market. The person apparently in charge of the project is Hartmut Klein, who was previously described as the company's manager for European export markets and was not available for comment. Under its previous management, Jack Wolfskin had been focusing on improving its performance in Germany, while expanding in China, Russia and the U.K., among others.
