JCP, the French distributor of outdoor products, has been renamed Eleven Outdoor effective Jan. 1. The decision follows the acquisition of the company by Jean-Marc Decloitre and Bruno Giusti last July. Decloitre is still running the company and Giusti, commercial director, has also retained his role. JCP has distributed Ferrino tents, sleeping bags and backpacks for 27 years, and Camelbak outdoor equipment since 2009. In addition to these brands, Eleven Outdoor has recently taken over the distribution of two Swedish brands, Elevenate, specialized in freeski clothing, and Extreme, originally a snowboard maker that now also makes skis.
