Naturkompaniet, the Swedish outdoor chain owned by Fenix Outdoor International, has signed an agreement to open a store of 324 square meters with a new concept in an attractive location in a popular shopping center outside Gothenburg. The store will open in June 2019. Today, there are 33 Naturkompaniet stores operating in Sweden, three of which are in central Gothenburg. The new store will cover a larger geographical area and improve accessibility and customer service. In reviewing its store format, the Naturkompaniet chain is moving away from its traditional use of natural materials.
