Oberalp will replace Project 2010 as the distributor of Fischer Sports in Italy, starting in March 2013. The deal is described as a strategic partnership that will involve cooperation in product development, branding and marketing. The two family-owned companies already collaborate through the studio of Antonio Dus in Montebelluna, which develops Fischer's ski boots as well as the footwear lines of Salewa and Dynafit, which belong to Oberalp. The development of Fischer in Italy will be led by Stefano Bodolon, who worked in Salewa's apparel division from 2003 to 2008. After working for another company, he returned to Oberalp as commercial manager for its active sport division. Oberalp is already the Italian distributor for such brands as Armada, Rip Curl and Speedo.
