Osprey, the U.S. backpack specialist from Cortez, Colorado, has launched the “Buy Online, Fit In-Store Program” to support independent retailers while reopening after the Corona shutdowns. The program is designed to bring consumers to brick-and-mortar retail partners. Customers who have purchased qualified backpack models on osprey.com after April 1 are encouraged to visit their local participating retailer to get a professional fit and to purchase their remaining equipment and apparel. After a fitting is completed in the store, the retailer will receive 15 percent of the purchase price as a credit to their Osprey account. To further assist the retailer, Osprey has developed an updated contactless fitting method to maintain the necessary social distance.
