Scandic Outdoor, a German distribution company specializing in sales of Nordic outdoor products, is complementing its offering with an agreement for the distribution in its country of Röjk, a Swedish outdoor apparel brand, starting with deliveries in September. Röjk is a relatively young company with a range of outdoor garments for multi-functional use. A distinctive aspect of the brand is that the garments are made in Europe, using sustainable materials such as biopolymer and recycled wool. Scandic says it has started taking pre-orders for Röjk. Other brands sold by Scandic include Woolpower socks and underwear, Trangia stoves, Nokian rubber boots, Sätila hats, Wildo outdoor cooking utensils and winter footwear from Baffin, the Canadian brand – an odd one out in this Nordic line-up.
